Fresh and original.

+Instruments are top notch. Really mixed those in well.

-Vocals were indistinguishable in the verses. Chorus, it was clear and concise.

Thanks for the review! Well... I don't know about the vocals during the verses. They sound perfectly clear to me. Of course, I've heard it like a million times, I know the lyrics by heart and I've been listening to it through studio monitors, which are factors that might be weighing in on my opinion. :-)

This is rock?

I have a hard time believing that. This is more of a jazz funk fusion thing. Like Spyro Gyro. Give them a lookup on Google, they're amazing.

Well, it's not rock, but I have a hard time finding anything on NG that it fits better. In the world outside of NG, it has its own genre.

The string pad should make perfect sense with the flute, because the flute isn't a flute - It's a violin (and a viola playing harmony quietly).

Thanks for the review though. I agree that it fits another genre, and are you referring to Spyro Gyra? If so, I already listen, because the Marimba is my primary instrument.

Wow, this was amazing!

Good luck with the final production! I rather enjoyed this because I really really dislike other forms of hip-hop, rap, whatever. This was very chill and professional. Well done so far ;)

Definitely rocked out to the previous rounds, and I couldn't believe that a round 3 came out. Oh yeah, splendid stuff! I really did the awesomeness. Very nice melodies and chord work. It all meshed really well.

Nicely produced

I rather enjoyed the drums and the brass, they flowed pretty nicely. The little "whispering" effect was also pretty funny. I didn't fall out of my chair laughing, but it was neat! Guitar effects were nice too. I'm pretty neutral on the singing honestly. It's ska, so I can't say I know much.

-The guitar chords didn't seem to match up with the brass too well, maybe it could sound more harmonious instead of dissonant? The bass line was pretty groovy, nice!

Well I'm glad you liked it! As for the horn part, rest assured, this has always been one of my least favorites. We kind of copped out and used the bassline as a horn part, too. At least this chorus riff is better than the original. It was basically whole notes. Just chords. Boring as deuce. We're still working with this one, and with any luck, it will change a good bit some time in the future.

Well, i already forgot what the original was like.

Holy cow though, this was amazing. The song itself is practically a modern Megaman, but the composition is great, and in a punk feel...this is quite possible the most epic song ever :D

hmm, neat

-Work on timing and making it more of a listening experience and get back to me, I like the concept. The bells are cool, a little choppy though, perhaps they could ring out more. Guitars sound nice. Drums need some work. If you could get some bass guitar in there, and then rhythm guitar too, that would so rock :D

yeah this was all done in a half hour 20 min of that just looking for a decent bell sample! and i just came up with a rythm part now that you say that. as far a drums go im pretty limited to some decent samples and a basic sequencer but i always love some suggestions and always try to add them in
