Transformers much?

I feel like this is what would happen if Linkin Park did dubstep, not sure though. I like where it is going, very nice :)

-Could you perhaps review my newest demo, Hope?

LOL. Yeah I'm gonna agree with you on the Linkin Park thing.

Happy :)

This is an amazing track. Then again, anytime I hear your stuff, I get extremely excited. Very awesome composition here. No other comments, keep it up :)

Sweet

Possibly the best bass I've ever heard on my headphones for the 4 months I've had them. :)

Cruisin'

-The first thing that came to mind was this piece's ability to be in a racing game. Hearing stuff like this totally makes my day.

-Not as diverse as I hoped it to be, but honestly, it's still extremely diverse compared to the majority of dance that I hear, so props for that.

-Once again, an open soundscape, and it sounds great! The variety of tone and color is fascinating.

-I don't have much to say for this one. It's definitely thrilling. Some of the transitions reminded me of the band Family Force 5. Very intense piece. Keep it up!

Hi IM,

Thanks for review. Interesting, I was going for this ghost feeling...but sure a racing feeling is close enough. I think I recognize your username from somewhere. Maybe I reviewed a past song of yours? I'll check out your latest.

-The diversity present in this piece is quite fascinating. This is definitely not your run of the mill electronic music. There is a broader variety, a vast spectrum of creative sound use.

-I wish the bass had more variety as far as supporting the chord structure. It seems as though the bass is riding on the root note of the chord most of the time. Why not dance around the chord structure? You have a piece in A minor with some blues stuff in there, perhaps on the A minor, throw the bass in the current rhythm into a pattern with more notes of the chord, like the C and E. The rhythm was awesome, I loved it, but I feel like more tonal support could come from the bass.

-The leads were amazing. This track reminded me of a game called Trackmania Nations. Very professional piece. Tons of variety, in the melodies and I also must mention the percussion. Top notch, keep it up!

Maybe the bass part was what sleepysrh was talking about. If only he is more clear in his review then I would have understood what he meant.

This song I tried to be original. Took quite some time to make just for that original factor and it looks like I got it from your comments. All I need to do now is make a song original and more better sounding.

The key is A minor. Correct you are. I would have added more diversity in this song but every song I make I hesitate whether a song is too repetitive or not. Before I used to get a lot of complaints saying my music was too diverse and had no structure. That is why I make my stuff repeat more than I usually would like. However, by the looks of things, all those guys against diversity don't even bother listening to my music. Heck its a milestone for me to get 200 listens and more than 20 downloads in all my songs now. So from now on I'm going to make music solely for me and who cares about pleasing those other people. Thanks for the insightful review....particularly the diversity part.

Sounds like you used a MOTIF?

I mean, I could be wrong, but it kinda sounds like some of the samples from there. MOTIFS are fun :)

Aside from that, I didn't feel like this was anything energizing as a remix. Nice sound and dynamics, but I still felt it wasn't an original remix, though I suppose that in itself could be an oxymoron.

Neato...

XXMisterFiyahXX responds:

MOTIF? No idea what you're talking about. I use Nexus. XD

-DJF!-

Neato.

Melodically, this was top notch. Bass was on and off on being good. I like it though, solo haters can't hate this, really enjoyed the solos :)

The work shows immensly :)

Great sound. Lovely harmonics.

-With this setup, I daresay a more romantic era approach to dynamics and tempo would suit you nicely. It's too straightforward. One part of the story is being explained and then whoops! Equal time is given to every part of the story, accenting of the story isn't found because the juicy and the bland are both explain in equally great detail. Make the story epic, not just tender.

You sir, are a keeper.

I think it needs a bit more bass end on the "main theme," but wow, this was a breath of fresh air. Geniusness. Whether you listen to soundtrack music or not, this piece really captured that style and further. It was music, not just a rendition. Loved the buildup from 1:10 on. Just brilliant.

-ImperfectDisciple

Eh...

Neat idea, terrible execution. Wasn't produced well. Some of it might have to do with the fake guitar. The highs were certainly lacking crispness and the lows were too distorted.

vanguard182 responds:

points well taken. thanks for the feedback!
