Cool

Seemed very soundtrack-ish, puts you into a calm mood, thinking about tomorrow, hoping it's there...

Wait a min-DARN SUBLIMINAL TITLES!!!

-Anyhow, I really liked the flow of the song, hope it works well with those indie films :D

mmmK

This song got extremely boring for me after the first 20 seconds. It got a little more interesting, but after that, there really was nothing but the same thing over and over again, made me angries!

-Overall, it had a cool sound to it, albeit a bit predictable. You could have created some tension in your fills, for example, or just something to spice the song up.

-Good try overall!

Very creative, realistic.

This track is really stunning, and it definitely shows that you've matured in your musical output compared to much of your other works. The piece draws you in with its deep chords, the lovely strings backdrop and the chorus of voices. Very good job, really not much to say on this piece but outstanding in many ways.

MaestroRage responds:

Hello Imperfect!

Thank you for your kind words. I really do feel like i've made some progress with this tune, and slowly i'm beginning to understand the tricks and techniques necessary for realistic midi mock ups.

I will check out your work very soon I swear! I'm going on a camping trip, and will be gone for three days, but I WILL get to it when I return.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Nice.

The vox seem to fit the song nicely, a feet that shouldn't go without notice. Awesome dude!

-Once more, the leads were great, but I think that one in the ending could have been a pure tone versus being slightly detuned. It'd probably be better as a pure pitched synth.

-Sweet!!!

YES!!!

-I'll have to say, the two things that I'm always pleased with in your music are the leads and the drums. They're easy to pinpoint to your style. The bass is nothing I'd rave about in an instant, but it does it's job well.

-Great ambient beginning, pleasing to the ears.

-The music box synth was sweet. Seemed a bit too bassy, but it was good.

-That bass that kicks in could be a bit distorted to come out some more, just a little though.

-Awesome leads from there on out, I totally love 'em man. Great job!

yahhooooo leads

Megaman III, Gameboy Color, Sparkman.

I used to play the darn game so much, it isn't even funny :P

-I seriously think this could have been better than you created it though. It seems to stick too far to the original if I guessed it as fast as I did. The remix didn't have anything that was creative AND new to the song. Seems more like you added wrong notes and the sort for really no apparent reason except that you don't know the song well enough to be able to use the notes and create something different.

-Overall, I enjoyed the beat, kinda interesting. It'll take some experimentation, but you'll get better at it.

Arnas responds:

Well this is my very first MIDI remix. lol

Wow!

For never ever hearing your work, it seems very professional. The sound, definitely, has a really nice sound. It's a good balance, I can clearly identify what's going on, it's a happy techno rave (it really can't get any better than that).

-The melody could be a bit better. It just sits in one place, it really doesn't go anywhere, but it's a really good start.

-Overall, this song officially rocks!

-Nice job.

Bunny-master responds:

Haha, yeah. This song was made relatively quickly, but uh...I really like the way it turned out. Thanks for the review man! Oh i checked out your stuff, you're incredible man.

Hard to follow.

It seems like a really good song, but the rhythm of this song is really hard to follow. It's kinda cool because it the drum counter the synths, but it's so darn annoying because it just doesn't sound good the whole time. You need to keep a consistent groove that the listener can follow and get moving to. This is a dance song (supposedly). Make it a song that I want to dance to then!

-I like the overall sound. Vocals are nice, although the timing (or maybe the written part or whatever) could be better fit to the song, which has to do with rhythm. I like how it's a long song, it kinda makes it seem like you put some effort into the song.

-Keep trying man, you're not bad at all :)

Awesome!!!

Seemed to capture Paragon's videogame-ish style on DnB (which I don't think is necessarily DnB if it's too videogame-ish, but whatev-). Nice breaks and FX with filtering and volume (or whatever you used). I encourage you to come through on this song.

-Here's an idea, but don't take my word for it. Maybe an ambient beginning and ending would really give this track a cushioning from the hardcore DnB style. In a sense, it's like a balance. It'd be pretty insane, and you've done stuff like that before (ambient beginning, DnB rest of the song for example). Just a suggestion ;)

-I like what you've got though, keep going.

-ImperfectDisciple

Rawrthaas responds:

I like where you are going with these suggestions.

Seems poppy :P

-It's got that pop feel to it, although the rhythm coming from the drums seems very much opposite to the pop feel. Then again, I could be wrong considering I really don't know much about pop because of Newgrounds (yay), but it's on the right track.

-Although a short piece, I thought it was extremely tight. Like the title, it had a "fluidity" that really came through in the song. It'd be cool with vocals, but those are hard to come by these days (singing lessons, right?).

-Awesome job, keep it up!

-ImperfectDisciple

Rawrthaas responds:

woot
