You've gotten much better since a couple of years of ago. Nice bass btw, it kicks really nicely. Maybe a bit too much high end, it sizzle a little too much in the ears, but otherwise, really wicked.

Sweet.

Sounds really cool, repetitive, but has a good sound to it. About 1:08, that synth comes in, that does the flute in the real song, it needs a faster attack, it feels too delayed. Otherwise, sweet!

Good.

The drums had a weird attack to them though. Like, when the drums stop, and then start up again, right when they start, the sound almost gives me the impression that there was a clip and it went down like it wasn't there. Idk, probably just me and my dang headphones, lol..

Go look up...

"Venetian Snares" (if the spelling is wrong, sorry). They are a DnB group of some sort, and they do all sorts of DnB, you might draw some inspiration from them.

The misfits don't have a "punk" singer if you think about it, but they rock awesome still.

It has a nice, full sound to it despite being 8-bit, which is really nice. The nintendo FX are also much welcomed :)

Yep.. I did like how it turned out. It was interesting putting together the "percussion" part.. considering the original song has none, but the Nintendo FX fits in well there.

I don't have much experience with 8-bit, but I had fun making this and will probably play around a bit more with it in the future.

Needs some more musical dynamics!

Like, buildups and mellowing down, making the song flow. For example, that kick drum can get really annoying if it's droning on for close to all of the the song. I found that I liked the beginning, then the middle seemed like the beginning repeated over again. The ending was very mellow, and maybe the middle could have used some of that feeling to contrast with the more upbeat parts.

-Not bad though, just needs some polishing :)
