YAY!

Sounds really nice, I like the sounds that you use, the composition isn't all that bad either.

Not so yay...

Heard trance like this before except for that swing feel part, that was certainly different. Your bass kick was horrible, I seriously think you need to take that up a notch, add more power and authority behind it. Your final kick to end the song was awesome, make all the bass drum kicks like that, it speaks out that way.

NICE!

Ohh a loong review, love those ^^

I tried to make my own style of music, and i think i made a good job on that.
About the bad kick drum, i have fixed all the sounds now, but i will not upload it on NG.
Glad that you like the 3step part just learned how to do that.

Thx for the review and ill check your stuff too.

Dude, I seriously like this piece, it's just stunning, everything I wanted for this piece since I just started listening to it just captivated my attention, this is truely an amazing piece. The vocal thing seemed "not extended" sustain-wise or something, but either way, I can now truely say that I like something you've made : P

Good job man! ; )

Thanks for the review man, i hope I do good in the MAC, and if oyur in it good luck to you.

I already reviewed that song awhile back.

YAY!

I see in your profile that you're a fan of DemonHunter, good choice, they're a rockin' band. Alot of those influences from the bands you like fade into the song like a stain on white, which is a good thing, I can clearly see your backround, and wow, you've got a great piece here, melody, solos, rhythm guitar, this piece freakin' rocks man!

Not so yay...

Can't wait for vocals : )

WOW! Outstanding piece : )

xSeraph7 responds:

Oh yeah man DH is the greatest band ever!, and I see in your profile that you like Pillar thats a good choice aswell lol. Anyways, yeah i spent ALOT of time on this song, mainly on the solo, I'll probably spend even more time on the vocals lol. Well thanks for the awesome review man, I'll check out your song, rock on \m/.

Pretty cool!

Only big problem with it is that...well, the mixing of the bass and treble spectrums of your song don't mix too well, but it's nicely composed : )

\m/_WHAT?_\m/

I'll be honest, I really do like it, but how is it any different from your other one? It's composed the same, and the same core instruments are used, I expected a totally revamped version, or something new. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers.

-Still very nice though? Yep...

Khuskan responds:

It is the same, apart from the software used. I'm trying to phase people out from using the old, outdated midi version to this one which has.. slightly improved sound.

Yeah, I cant really top the old one, but still, its a nice little experiment to see what happens.

YAY!

This is definitely an improvement. The piece is pretty diverse considering your time limit to make such a piece. Tends to have an extremely dynamic feel with all the stuff you've put into the song. With just some presets, you've created a very nicely thought-out piece for such a quick put together.

Not so yay...

Not the best sounding drum samples, but a good set for a run like this. You'll learn to make great drum samples and the sort with time, research on your part, and working for money to buy whatever you'll need (research what you want to buy ; )

-Kinda repetitive in a sense, taking more time with a full version of FL will do yah some good, since you can save : )

-Great effort! Keep this up!!!

TorkKey responds:

At least its an improvement!!!

I am saving up for the full and I hope to get the "Producer Edition" ($150).

Ya it does get repetitive... (oops)... And it would be great to save.
(Damn demo's...)

Thx for the review and ALL of the support that wou've given me!!!

YAY!

Nice guitar riffs and incorporation of comedy!

Not so yay...

The song seemed glitchy, it would cut in and out, seeming like a rigid gap in between certain riffs and so on. Get some good heavy metal drum samples and a software music maker for the computer so you can incorporate drums, that's pretty much a core that you're missing for heavy metal.

-You can do it, work for it : )

DesertVulture responds:

hey, someone reviewed my song, that's awesome!

But seriously, the "gaps" are techniques of mine. I like those, but some people don't. They were intentional. This isn't the final version. I have no idea how to play the drums, and I don't know how to use FL6, so yeah. I'll put some drums in it and give your music a look.

\m/_Not there yet!_\m/

YAY!

At least you're interested in music making!

Not so yay...

You're using basic GarageBand loops to make a song, and you're not using "you", per se, to make the music. When you compose your own loops, or melodies and basslines, and sounds, you get yourself into the music. The sole purpose of music is to express feeling, and with this, you can't do that.

-Keep trying man! Just keep researching, asking questions to audio regulars in the Audio BBS, research music making programs just as Fruity Loops and Reason, and maybe even GarageBand more to see how you can make your OWN loops, melodies and the whatnot. You'll get it man, you'll get it!

mikenuzzo responds:

I can make audio now, since i've learned bass and sax, but sadly i dont have the program anymore.

\m/_Has Potential!_\m/

YAY!

Nice beginning, the feeling was really cool, and it was just nice and smooth, and could have developed a good, calm techno style. You know how to use the effects in FL pretty well, as shown in this small piece.

Not so yay...

It's random. Here's the solution, learn music theory. There's a book called "The Complete Idiots Guide to Music Theory," and it's been a great help to me in understanding how to compose catchy, and fun music that you and the listener will like. Instruments tended to overlap too much as things got crowded. You're using FL preseted drums as well, but you'll get over that with getting VST's/Plugins, google that : )

-You've got potential, don't give up!

\m/_Good!_\m/

YAY!

It's more peppy than other versions I've listened to. The drum groove is kickin', it's like, wow, tight. Sounds used overall were nice. Good clarity as well! Nice little blips in the second half of the loop.

Not so yah...

It's an okay remix, but not entirely enough to call it "new/polished". You take the whole thing apart, and reorganize it to the real remix you want it to sound like.

Overall, pretty good : )
