Wow, nice submission man! I could imagine the Tankmen thinking they've got to attack these robots, but they're drunk, so they're hallucinating, and taking out their own guys, hehehe.

Wow, for just submitting to Newgrounds, I can tell you're not a n00bie at all! You've got lots of diverse sound effects, and a great composition. Your ending rocks man! You too have a serious chance at getting into a Tankman submission, me thinks. Then again, a lot of us artists have a chance, since we're all pretty good.
A couple of pointers however...
-Your crash cymbal was irregular, it didn't ring out, it just stopped. Give it some suspension or something.
-The marching sound you had in there seems to distort with the snare. I don't know how to fix that one though, sorry : (

Hey SuperDrummer, thnx a lot for the review. I really appreciate your pointers, and I agree with you. When it comes to mastering I'm really kind of n00bish, so I need this kind of feedback to improve. My biggest flaw when it comes to the clarity issue, I guess is that I love the multibandcompressor.

Not bad, but here's some pointers...
-This is DnB, as in "Drum and Bass", not Industrial. As you get better on Newgrounds, as I suspect you will, know your genres.
-The song is way too short to really be a "song", persay. Make it fuller, longer, more to it. You CAN do it, this work shows it.
-Keep it up man, you're gonna go somewhere : )

That was pretty cool man! Getting all those sound fx, and creating them, and then arranging them in such a way that they made sense, that took some work. I suggest expanding the idea though, put a soundtrack feeling behind it with some instruments, like strings and the sort, that would rock!

For a beginning artist, you're really coming along in the audio portal. Everything is very nice. The only thing that is somewhat skeptical is the transition from the end of the loop to the beginning, they don't really match. You'd have to bring the loop down to that point at the end of the loop so that the beginning and end flow together.

Good Points
-The feeling of tanks just coming to the frontlines, ready to do damage is here. I could imagine JohnnyUtah using this as a "glory moment" ready to ruined by a friend. For example, there's the tankman running for cover from robots, and he's about to plant C4 in their base to explode, then one of his team-mates snipes him, and he's like, "YAY, I GOT ONE, YIP---wait..."
-Has your soundtrack feeling in there.
-Sounds like an easy loop, good for the flash.
-Nice percussion in the beginning.
Bad Points
-Can't really think of anything, it's just the slightest bit repetitive, but that may be it, I just can't see anything bad in this song.

I bet that repetitive factor came from those damn congo drums which I love so much. I also used Bongo drums, but meh, the difference between the two in this song are not distuinguishable.

If you really want to get into this, I suggest "The Complete Idiots Guide To Music Theory," 'cause it's helped me out a lot as well. Loads of info on making melodies, learning chords/scales, and loads more, it's a great book.

Only thing that's kinda wrong with it is that the overall quality of the song is muffled, dampened, not alive, persay? Work on that!
