I seriously like the progression and pretty much everything about this song. It's got everything anyone could ask for in a song, plus more. It goes beyond many other songs. Great job mate!

Nice production, but get off of the Fruity Loop samples unless you're either going to edit them to make your own sound, or use it as a good thing, which you kind of did. You still missed the point though. Making your own samples insures the sound you want, a better sound, and something us listeners know that you've created, something you truly influenced. Nice composition, you've got that much down, that's for sure : D

You've got sound down obviously, the overall sound is quite nice! The thing you're missing is that a remix is YOUR own creation. Change it up! You want to create a composition you can truly call your own. It's like making your interpretation on something. You've obviously chose a nice song to do though, it's nifty. Keep working with your program to get as much out of it as you can, you've got the capabilities right in front of you!!!

Hmm...
-The song kinda grows on you. Like, the first time you listen, you're like, "Meh...", then the 2nd time through the song, you think, "Good," then "Cool," then "WOW!" Crazy man : D
-The automation is made very nicely, even so that even if you messed up the looping, it wouldn't be much of a problem, the automation at the beginning and the end (using a Multiband Compressor, correct?) shows a good quality of diversity)
-The vocals are easily arguable on either side. Overall tone is okay, but extremely annoying to a point with exaggeration of pitches in the notes. It seems like you really worked on it and that the vocoding really fit in with the song, but it's just weird how the pitches change, the vocoding messes it up. But of course, this is arguable! Nice slicing of the vocoding, that seemed to be a high point of the vox!
-Samples overall were really nice. At the transition from the vox to a main synth (for the melody), the synth is skippy, jumpy, whatever. It's not bad, it's just what you'd expect isn't there, so that kinda makes the listener go "What?" at first, but then as other instruments blend it, it's normed out.
-Sound FX (for example, you had this thing where it sounded like a gun cocking at the beginning at the end of the automation fade). Those FX were nicely done, high quality.
-Transitions were a high point, the song really flowed nicely. Easy to follow, understand, and groove to the song. Although this a short mix, it's not hard to pick up on the diversity.
-What does the original sound like? Never heard it, but obviously, this shouldn't be close to the actual mix. It's clear that you've put in a lot of work to create your own sound and style.
-Composition...is kinda hard to judge. It's pretty simple with the drums, but that kinda adds power to it.
-Some questions...
-Why is this called a "Slam Mix", 'cause of the kick drum?
-Could you check my music? You don't have to, your choice of whether or not.
-Overall a nice tone to bob your head to, very nice to hear a BOUNC3 track. Try some more genres, it would be interesting to hear DnB or Ambient "BOUNC3", especially since this expands your abilities, ones you could incorporate into your other songs that are normally trance. Then again, you probably do that since your a good artist anyways.

It's probably been sampled somewhere else as well, I wouldn't be suprised if theres 3 or 4 songs using samples from the same movie.
Then again, I take pride in using 'Duck and Cover' in my piece without a single recorded instance of the words 'duck' or 'cover' actually being heard.
Oh yeah, and this style is really, really damned fun. 7 hour turnaround from start of production to final mastering, it's the most rewarding track I've ever made.

Sounds really great, just the fact you left the song pretty empty and all. Vocals would be nice? Maybe I'll try to record some, just silly ones if I actually do. Either that, or I'll at least write some : D

All these remixes you do of Mario songs are seriously just amazing, they've got your own touch to it in one way or another, whether it's genre, or a different composition. Just awesome, great job, love the organ : D

Didn't think I'd run into music this good for someone with only three track so far, but then again, expectations with newcomers is usually lower, you raised that standard : D
-Very nice melody, it's very suiting. Composition is great for the most part. The only thing is you use the same patterns over and over again. Add extra melodies, and riffs, maybe countermelodies. The layout of the song was nice, but predictable, keep the listen on their toes, but relaxed with the song for the most part. Create the tension, and then release it. This causes the audience to be attracted to what's going on, and what's going to happen, and the release makes the audience go "aah!"

And yes, there WAS a counter melody. It was that first synth that came in. I see what you mean by the tension, but I didn't really care that much about it becuase I just did this for fun! And no, I have been making music for a year now so dont except me to be a noob =p Thanks for the review man!
